Representation, advocacy and self-regulation
As the voice of the Belgian advertisers’ sector, UBA plays a central role in the media landscape. Through close collaboration with the Jury for Ethical Practices in Advertising (JEP), the Council for Advertising and policymakers, UBA defends your interests.
By becoming a member, companies also contribute to the sector’s self-regulation system.

Three membership types tailored to your profile
UBA offers membership options that match the nature of your organisation:
- Brand members: For companies that build one or more brands B2B or B2C.
- Expertise members: For agencies and organisations offering strategic, creative or technological support to brands.
- Media members: For media organisations and sales houses committed to a sustainable media ecosystem.
What does a UBA membership cost?
The annual membership fee depends on your member type:
- For brand members, the fee is based on the brand’s media investment. Organisations with limited spend pay a minimum of €2,245/ year (excl. VAT).
- For expertise members, the yearly fee is €5,833.
- For media members, the annual fee is €17,498.
