Overview:
We are currently seeking an E-commerce and New business account manager to join our Lifestyle Brands team. At LSB we are on a constant quest to continue our leadership and influence by challenging the organisation to reach unchartered heights. This applies to everything we do; especially having incredible leaders at all levels of the organisation. In this spirit, we are looking for you as a high-potential Account Manager to drive top and bottom line performance. You will work with our PurePlay customers in The Netherlands, Belgium and France. But not only will be growing current customers, we would also like you to help hunting for new business in the discount and drug space. Finally, you will be the guiding light for our grocery account managers to further grow their e-commerce business.
You will be based in our Brecht office in Belgium and reporting directly to the FBNL Country Manager. Your role plays a pivotal part in both the FBNL and European sales organisation. Working directly with category, brand experience, new product development, operations and finance to create and drive the online strategy and deliver the business’ sales and profit targets. Responsibilities:
- Deliver operating budget for your accounts. Be resourceful and employ innovative sales and marketing solutions to deliver value, gross margin and volume targets for your customers. Manage the trade terms, agreements, price increases and promotional plans. Manage and maintain a bottom up plan and provide clarity to the leadership team on an on-going. Develop commercial solutions to issues and ensure stretching targets are set with clear rationales as to growth levers and execution plans.
- Championing E-commerce. Take full responsibility for your accounts and challenge the organisation to give you what you need for success. Ensure all the basics of E-commerce are delivered (assortment, images, descriptions, R&Rs etc.) and help be a pioneer in this area for the rest of the business. Keep up to date with the channel’s ever-changing landscape and optimise plans to maximise growth.
- Relationship Retail. Continue to drive our retailer relationships to the next level. Know what you need to do to keep your customer happy operationally, whilst bringing the fun and being disruptive, delivering competitive advantage for LSB in your accounts.
- Build compelling stories and sell with impact. It’s your challenge to build sustainable distribution, sales and profitability of existing and NPD lines within the customer. You bring deep customer understanding together with market and consumer insight for your biggest accounts. You will lead the analysis of data sources, working with the category team to develop the account strategy on communication and execution.
- Relentlessly pioneer the future. Lead the way and set an example for other E-commerce parts of FBNL retailers by building digital sales and brand capabilities. You can design a compelling story internally and externally to secure branded content to disrupt the digital shopper journey. Share the learnings and recommendations that can be rolled out to other accounts.
- Collaborate with supply chain on the forecast. Using data analysis and through collaborative work with supply chain team, deliver planned sales in line with the monthly forecast.
- Develop a spend savvy promotional plan for your customers. Determine the key activity moments and use commercial and category insights to experiment with new mechanics.
- Work with marketing team to activate the brand strategy. In order to complement your customer strategy and deliver a gold standard of execution you are able to create a brand ‘theatre’ online.
- Serve as an Ecover + method role model and advocate internally and externally. You will make sure we are further positioning our brands as differentiated and value-driven to support our premium positioning and drive green category value.

Experience you'll bring:
- You’ll have ‘the smarts’ (i.e. a first-class education and work experience) and the flexibility to apply it to the real world for leading negotiations and in implementing winning strategies.
- You’ll have learnt your trade through solid experience working as an Account Manager.
- You’ll have experience negotiating annual terms agreements with full ownership of your accounts’ P&L with a keen interest in technology and all things related to digital and E-commerce
- You’ll have good understanding of how both seller and vendor models work, with preferably having managed customers like bol.com and Amazon.

- Your communications skills are one of your biggest strengths; you are able to strike up strong relationships with people from the get go.
- You are a whizz at pulling together compelling presentations that tell a great story and lead to a win.
- You have excellent numeric skills & Excel skills, along with other MS Office applications.
