Job Summary:

As the Social Media Manager for Groupe SEB Belgium, you will be responsible for defining together with Marketing Director and Digital Marketing manager and implementing the social media marketing strategy insuring synergy of social media communications, influencer marketing, PR and brands applications management.

Your primary goal will be to strengthen our brands' awareness via social platforms/ RP/ influence, increase user engagement, drive loyalty and user generated content creation via applications. You will work closely with local and international Marketing teams and external agencies to ensure the coherence and effectiveness of our digital initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop together with Marketing Director and Digital Marketing manager and implement a social media marketing strategy for 1-3 years. Identify trends and opportunities on social media to enhance brands visibility, awareness and engagement.
  • Design innovative and impactful campaigns to increase brand awareness, support new product launches and drive sales.
  • Drive, together with local and international marketing, development of brand applications as a way to create a product universe and perfect experience.

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee editorial calendar and content management on various social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, etc.) in time and in line with brand guidelines. Together with Product Managers, ensure visual and editorial consistency of published content.
  • Analyze the performance of campaigns and posts, adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results.
  • Build special communication campaigns. Manage/ develop users’ communities.
  • Build links & strategy for Social media activity to nurture D2C online & offline business.
  • Ensure social listening.

Influence Marketing / Public relations

  • Propose public relations strategy (incl. classic PR and Influence marketing) and implement it. Evaluate performance, measure ROMI, propose adjustments if necessary.
  • Manage classic Public Relations projects via PR agency. Oversee editorial calendar and content management in coordination with Product Managers.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with relevant influencers to promote our products. Coordinate influencer campaigns from start to finish, ensuring influencers adhere to brand guidelines.

Brands applications development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers in Belgium, developers and designers based in France, to define and prioritize new content, features and improvements.
  • Drive the content development process, mixing new recipes developed by Business Units, local recipes creation with Chef or Influencers and user generated content.
  • Prepare a continuous communication plan that includes recipes and utilize all possible channels to boost the visibility of our apps. This should be done through push notifications, social media, and email campaigns, in collaboration with the CRM Manager.
  • Build links & strategy for applications to enrich D2C online & offline experience.

 

Collaboration with External Agency:

  • Work closely with external agencies to develop and execute social media and PR campaigns.
  • Brief the agency on objectives, expectations, and deadlines, provide materials, ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Coordinate actions between internal teams and the agency to ensure smooth communication, respect of guidelines, on time and effective campaign execution.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Conduct continuous social media and industry monitoring to identify best practices and emerging trends.
  • Generate regular reports on social media and influencer campaign performance, including recommendations for future actions.
  • Present results and insights to internal stakeholders, including the marketing management team and international teams.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in social media management and influencer marketing minimum 3 years. Ideally in communication agency and the consumer goods sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of social platforms and current digital trends.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics software (Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to create engaging content.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ability to interpret performance metrics.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Creative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in digital marketing, specializing in social media and influencer marketing.
  • Dutch is a must (native), French is a must (bilingual), good level of English is a must.
